Not only is this one of the most fun stories to tell, it is one that is not just about the "house" but the home and the homeowners.
In a competitive market, I have been know to pull out all the stops to help my clients secure their homes and when Bill and Denise were looking for their dream home, this was no exception! I had several homes scheduled for the tour and the night before, 1512 Quail came on the market.
I let Bill and Denise know that it was listed and scrambled to add it to the first showing of the day before the rest of the tour. I knew this was in their most desired area, an area that they had ridden their bikes through many evenings before, and they were ecstatic that they might have an opportunity to call The Woodlands their new home. Saturday morning they rose early and drove by the home before our showings began. The Seller was collecting her things to leave and Bill and Denise decided to see where she was going. She arrived at King Soopers and as she was walking in the store, Bill and Denise pulled up in their cute lime green Subaru Crosstrek, rolled down their window and said "Hey, want to sell your house to us?" The Seller laughed and said they would have to contact her broker.
Needless to say, after seeing the home they fell in love, we wrote the offer and the Seller accepted. I did not hesitate to "mention" that the buyers were the people that stalked her in the King Soopers parking lot! Pulling out all the stops for our clients, always!
